Hey Cupcake!

I love how cupcake shops are so popular right now. Makes me wish I could open my own cupcakery. I saw a business space for lease in Whittier that would make a good location for one. I just happen to kind of suck at baking, so I don't think it would be a very good career move for me. I can cook anything else -I've even mastered risotto, which isn't easy- but when it comes to baking, it's questionable.

With that said, I'll have to stick to going to my favorite cupcake shop "Frosted," in the Belmont Shores area of Long Beach. Unlike other cupcake shops I've gone to, Frosted's cupcakes are very moist and their frosting is not overwhelmingly sweet. They have so many varieties too! Even special ones during the holidays. They put such cute decor on their cupcakes too. Here's a picture of my recent stop there:

I had a chocolate toffee one (not pictured) and bought a mint chocolate one (the green ones at the bottom) to eat the next day. A cold glass of milk was required, of course.
